About Our Program
Each Community Health
Nursing clinic
offers a variety of
services including
nursing services to
residents of all ages
and incomes.
The community health nurses
provide services in 13 primary
health center locations. Each
clinic provides these
services at a low cost or using
a sliding scale dependent upon
income to residents of all ages and
incomes (See
Services We Provide).
In addition to providing essential
public health services such as
immunizations, we also serve as
school nurses in school districts
without a school nurse. With an
area of responsibility of over
96,000 square miles, our nurses
average 1,000 miles per month of
traveling throughout the rural
counties in the State Of Nevada.
Community Health Nursing has earned
a reputation of reliability and is a
trusted source for healthcare for
the working poor, uninsured,
indigent, and rural populations
within Nevada. We operate on a
sliding fee scale depending on your
income. We do not deny services due
to inability to pay.
