Nutrition Tips

This summer the site highlights exercise adaptations and nutrition facts, a great combination for life-long health. For further information on physical activity and nutrition please feel free to contact the Bureau of Family Health Services' nutritionist.

For extensive information on exercise adaptation please visit NADCP’s Exercise Adaptations and visit the American Dietetic Association’s easy to read Nutrition Fact Sheets on a wide variety of topics. Both of these sites offer information in the selection and preparation of foods to obtain proper nutrition, and ways to make exercise accommodations to get the most health from your lifestyle choices.

If you have questions or want to find out more about how nutrition can play a key role in the daily lifestyles of children with special health care needs please contact the Bureau of Family Health Services' nutritionist.
