What is Project ASSIST?

Project Assist is an information source and database of resources for children and young adults with disabilities, their families, and their service providers.

 
Why call Project ASSIST?

It is often hard to know what resources are available to you and your family. Project ASSIST is here to help you find the services that can assist you in your area by providing a computerized database of state and national resources which are updated every year. Please call
1 (800) 522-0066 today to be connected with the resources available to you.

 
How can Project ASSIST Help?

In order to locate those services which could best assist you, project ASSIST staff will help clarify your information needs through a phone interview. The staff will conduct a computer search to find programs and agencies which may be able to help you or provide the information you seek.  There is no cost to the individual.

What Happens Next?

A list of available resources will be mailed to you. You decide which services to contact. Project ASSIST will not contact you again unless you ask them to do so.
