Nevada Advisory Council on Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN)

What the Council Does
The Nevada Advisory Council on Children with Special Health Care Needs was established with the support of the Real Choice Systems Change Grant. The CSHCN program and the Bureau of Family Health Services has brought together members of the community to provide input and direction on the Real Choice projects.

The Council brings together parents, young adults, advocates, educators, and providers to provide input on the direction of the program's projects. The 13-member Council has decision making authority for project activities and will act as a forum for issues of interest to CSHCN and their families.

Meetings of the Advisory Council are held quarterly throughout the year and are open to the public. For more information on the Nevada Advisory Council on Children with Special Health Care Needs or for the dates and locations of the next meeting please contact the Children with Special Health Care Needs Program at 1-866-254-3964.
