The bureau also strives to be the
state leader in Maternal and Child Health (MCH) issues by
providing: |
- Research
- Analysis of data from needs assessment and the
development of initiatives and recommendations to address
the findings of needs assessments
- Standards development
- Provision of technical assistance
- Preparation of legislative testimony
- Information for Nevada State Health Division and other
Department of Human Resources staff, planning groups, policy
makers, and other agencies whose activities affect the MCH
populations
- Quality assurance

Whether providing direct services or
just information, the bureau accomplishes its various
activities through the expertise of a variety of
professional staff including Health Program Specialists,
Health Program Managers, Health Educators, and
Nutritionists. |
